For X1/P1 owners, a switching adapter is required to power the drying function. Since the filament drying time is long, you rarely need multiple adapters working simultaneously. The optional adapter helps keep the price down.
- For H2D owners, your H2D can power any of the connected AMS 2 Pros for drying, so if you don't plan on running multiple AMS 2 Pros for drying simultaneously, you won't need an adapter.
