AMS Feeder Unit (Hall)

Overview

The AMS Feeder Unit (Hall) is specifically designed to support the AMS in multi-color, multi-material printing.

Each AMS has 4 feed units , each with its own motor and gears to actively push the filament forward or wind it back onto the spool.

The feed unit includes a sensor to detect filament . When filament is inserted, the unit automatically draws it in. When the filament needs to be removed, the unit activates the AMS's drive sleeve to rotate the spool and rewind it.
