Overview
The AMS lite Feeder Unit is specifically designed to be compatible with the AMS lite and allow for printing in multiple colors and materials. Due to its unique symmetrical design, the feeder unit is available in left and right versions. Both versions have corresponding slots: the left feeder unit corresponds to Slot 1 and Slot 2 , while the right feeder unit corresponds to Slot 3 and Slot 4 .
The left and right power supply units have only minor structural differences, while their functionality and purpose are identical. Please note that each unit can only be installed in its corresponding position. Please ensure you have selected the correct version (left or right) before purchasing.
Each feed unit has its own motors and gears to actively push the filament forward. When the filament is inserted, the unit automatically draws it in and sends it to the print head through the PTFE tube.
